The DV+ design addresses common weaknesses found in factory diverter valves, including boost leakage and durability issues. Its pilot-actuated design also allows the valve to respond more effectively, whether you’re running a standard or modified engine.

Adjustable venting, your way

One of the DVX’s standout features is GFB’s patented Venting Bias Adjustment System.

An internal rotating sleeve allows you to vary the balance between recirculated and atmospheric venting. Rather than being restricted to a fixed split such as 50/50 or 100% atmospheric, you can adjust the valve to suit your preferred sound.

The large atmospheric outlet also produces a deeper, more pronounced sound compared with BOV spacers that rely on several small vent holes.

ECU control vs vacuum-operated valves

Many aftermarket blow-off valves replace electronic ECU control with traditional manifold vacuum operation. While vacuum-operated valves are effective, the factory ECU can react faster and detect much smaller changes in throttle position.

The DVX retains this ECU-controlled operation, allowing the valve to respond quickly to throttle transitions while maintaining the benefits of the upgraded valve design.

Why not just fit a BOV spacer?

BOV spacers can make the factory diverter valve louder by redirecting discharged air to atmosphere, but they don’t address the underlying limitations of the original valve.

The DVX takes a different approach. Rather than simply modifying the sound, it upgrades the valve itself to improve its operation, boost-holding capability and response. It also avoids the restricted airflow associated with spacers that use multiple small vent holes.
