This kit includes Racingline Performance’s Oil Management System & Racingline Performance’s Oil Cooler System for 2.0T EA888 Gen3.

PRODUCT 1 of 2 – Racingline’s Oil Catch Tank & Oil Management System is the ultimate oil separating catch can system for MQB EA888 Gen3 2.0T engine cars.

Not all catch cans are created equal. The Racingline Performance system has a dual function: as well as routing undesirable oil and moisture vapours through a sophisticated system of internal baffles and a fully baffled catch can, the Racingline Performance Oil Catch Can System also takes our track & motorsport experience of these engines to correct the problem of oil build-up in the top of the engine during high-G braking. The kit includes our Engine Breather Plate – just as the Golf and SEAT TCR EA888 touring cars use to avoid the oil surge issue.

So not only does the Racingline Performance Oil Management System condense these vapours into the bottom of the tank, keeping a purer air/fuel mixture and avoiding the problem of slowly filling intercooler and intake pipework with oil. The Engine Breather Plate included in the kit also protects your engine by helping to eradicate oil starvation in very high G braking – an issue when used on track, leading to several engine failures in Racingline Performance UK’s testing experience.

Additional Kit Options: 
– Washer Bottle Relocation Kit – 
If your vehicle has the washer bottle filler on the Left Hand side of the engine bay, You will need this.

– Quick Drain Kit – 
This handy little extra will allow you to quickly empty the Oil Catch Tank without removing it from the vehicle.

PRODUCT 2 of 2 – Racingline’s Oil Cooler kit is a complete ready to install package.

Of course, adding power generates more heat to disperse. Significantly increased oil temperatures mean only one thing: a decrease in the ability for your engine to stay properly lubricated.
The new Racingline kit solves this problem: by adding in an additional air to oil cooler positioned right in the airflow in front of the car, oil temperatures are reduced by around 15-20ºc (of course this varies dependent on factors such as how the car is being driven, ambient temperatures and state of tune).

Unlike many oil cooler kits, this keeps the factory Oil to Water cooler in position – effectively doubling up on your cooling. As oil passes through the new cooler first, that means less heat transfer back into your car’s water coolant circuit too.

Due to the Fine Stainless Steel Gauge filter included, this kit should not be run with a freshly built, or re-built engine during the ‘break-in’ period.

We recommend replacing or cleaning the filter at 5,000 mile intervals.
