In stock form the AL552 is a capable gearbox, it does however start to show its limitations when driven hard and especially when combined with software increasing the performance of your vehicle. The 8 speed 0D5 AL552 transmission is found in Audi’s premium ‘Modular Longitudinal Platform (MLB)’ and is an improved, lightened version of the previous automatic gearbox (the 0BK). This gearbox is found in vehicles such as the S4, S5 and SQ5.

Revo AL552 TCU software has been designed for the driven. Working on the characteristics of the gearbox to provide a better driving experience and optimal performance when coupled with our performance ECU software. The upshifts have been tailored to each drive mode, holding the gears better so it’s not changing up early and allows the engine to be in the right power band more of the time. When switched to manual auto-upshifts are completely disabled and the engine can be revved right through to the hard-cut limiter, which can be fully appreciated on this V6 power unit.

Revo TCU Software gives you much more than just quicker shifts. A large part of development is based on driving scenarios and feedback, ensuring an exhilarating experience. Expect smooth and refined response at low RPM & partial throttle, with optimal shift programming for wide-open throttle driving.
